Have your favourite view captured on canvas

Lovers of the Lake District are being given the chance to have their favourite view captured on canvas. Windermere Fine Art Gallery is offering the chance to have a bespoke painting commissioned, worth up to £1000. The offer is part of the gallery’s celebration of the opening of its Lakeland Exhibition on June 1 To enter, we would just like to know your favourite Lakeland view, the reasons why you love it and what it means to you. Submissions can be made online, by post or in-person to info@windermeregallery.co.uk or Windermere Fine Art, Beech Street, Windermere, LA23 1ED. The winner will be selected midway through the exhibition to give you the chance to visit the gallery and select the participating and available artist you’d like to paint your favourite view,” Matthew added. The painting will be 16 inches by 12 inches framed and signed by the artist.
